I started my official Referee Game Log

Keeping a game log will help me measure my progress and have a track record of my experience if/when anybody needs it...

It feels good to have all my game details logged in one place!

I was told recently I should start a Google Sheets document to record all my games.

I think this is a great idea in addition to blogging here. I can go into more detail here in my writing on Substack but it’s good to have a full accounting of all the big games I’ve worked.

• I’ll need to present a game log to earn a promotion

• I’m only recording my bigger games (adult amateur, U18+, bigger tournament games, etc). Maybe I’ll include lower-level ones in the future too if I have big learning moments in them.

• I highlight bigger youth games in yellow and USSF-certified adult league games in green.
